How to Create an Individual Opportunity

This section empowers you to initiate the manual creation of new opportunities from scratch. While automation is widely used for opportunity creation, understanding the process of crafting them manually is essential. Generating opportunities for your clients streamlines the sales process tracking. To commence the creation of a new opportunity, simply click the + New button and proceed with entering the required information.

Opportunity Tab

Contact Info

To create a new opportunity from scratch, you will use this panel.

  • Contact Name: Add or edit this opportunity's name.
  • Email: Add or edit this opportunity's email.
  • Tags: Add or edit this opportunity's tags.
  • Phone: Add or edit this opportunity's phone number.
  • Company Name: Add or edit this opportunity's company name.

Opportunity Info

  • Add Opportunity Name: Provide a name for your opportunity, typically the full name of the opportunity or company name.
  • Select Pipeline: Choose the pipeline for allocating this opportunity, crucial for organizational purposes and data tracking.
  • Choose a Pipeline Stage: Assign the opportunity to a specific stage in your pipeline to track its progress in the sales process.
  • Select Status: Assign a status to the opportunity, indicating whether it is open, closed, or lost.
  • Input Lead Value: Add monetary values to track conversion revenue and costs, defaulting to USD.
  • Assign Owner/User: Assign an owner or user to the opportunity, facilitating responsibility management in sales teams or call centers.
  • Opportunity Source: If known, enter the source of the opportunity to track acquisition data.

Edit Opportunity

To edit the opportunity, click on the contact card and proceed to the edit popup.

Opportunity Tab

Edit the opportunity tab you just created following the same format.

Book/Update Appointment Tab

Manually add or edit an appointment for a specific opportunity.

  • Select A Calendar: Choose a calendar from the dropdown menu.
  • Meeting Location: Optionally add a meeting location.
  • Appointment Title: Optionally give a title to the appointment.

Tasks Tab

Manually add a new task for a specific opportunity.

  • Task Title: Give the new task a title for easy identification.
  • Task Description: Mention the person responsible for the task and provide other details.
  • Assign Task: Assign the task to a team member or leave it unassigned.
  • Select Due Date: Choose a due date for task completion.

Notes

View or edit notes in the notes tab on the far right of the Edit Opportunity tab. Add important details related to the opportunity, visible in the Opportunity Card and contact details within the CRM's contacts tab.

Quick Card Action

These action icons at the footer of each card allow you to seamlessly add and manage activities.

  • Call: Speed-dials the contact number.
  • View Conversation: Directs you to the contact's conversation thread.
  • Add Tag: Adds a tag to your contact card.
  • Add Notes: Directs you to the Note tab to add additional info about the contact.
  • Add Tasks: Allows you to assign any user in your team to a task specifically for that contact.
  • Add an Appointment: Books an appointment with the contact.
  • Added Tag: Indicates the number of tags added to each contact when tag(s) are added.
