Add SMS Template

To create a new text template, begin by clicking the green + Add Template button located at the top right corner of your screen. This button is situated under the "Templates" section within the "Conversations" tab of your CRM. Upon clicking, a dropdown menu will appear, offering you the choice between "Add Text Template" or "Add Email Template." In this specific scenario, select "Add Text Template."

Once you've clicked on the "Add Text Template" option, a popup window will appear, prompting you to input your template details.

Name Your Template:

Selecting an appropriate name for your template is crucial. Familiarize yourself with recommended naming conventions to ensure that you and your team can swiftly locate the template whenever it's required.

Create Your SMS Template:

In the body section, compose the message you wish to include in your template. For added personalization and customization, you can incorporate custom values and trigger links by clicking on the respective dropdown menus positioned above the text box.

Attach Files to Your SMS:

To include a file from your computer or device within your SMS template, click on the paperclip icon, located at the bottom left corner near your template text. This feature allows you to easily send images, documents, and other files in conjunction with your messages.

Preview Your SMS Template:

To preview your SMS template, direct your attention to the right side of the screen. Here, you will find the values you've entered in the template body, as well as any attached files.

Send a Test via SMS:

You also have the option to test the template to ensure its compatibility with mobile devices. Start by entering your phone number in the "Mobile Phone Number" field located beneath the message preview. Click the green "Send Text" button to dispatch the test message, and then review it on your mobile device. Once you are satisfied with your template, click the green "Save" button situated at the bottom right corner of the template body box.
