V2: Creating Opportunities NOT For The Bot To Call

V2: Creating Opportunities NOT For The Bot To Call

Uploading Your Contact List

1. Start the Import Process

Begin by navigating to the import contacts section within the CRM. Here, you'll have the option to upload your contact list. For demonstration purposes, we will use a sample list. Click Next to proceed.

2. Understand Column Matching

Acknowledge the prompt about unmatched columns. Many fields will automatically match to your CRM's database. However, your list may require additional attention to ensure all relevant columns are correctly mapped. If necessary, take a moment to double-check and map any extra columns. For simplicity, this guide assumes no additional mapping is needed.

3. Naming and Creating Your List

Assign a name to your list, such as "Test List" or any name that suits your campaign. You'll then have the option to create a "Smart List" from this import, which is recommended for easy management of these contacts moving forward.

4. Update Existing Contacts

Ensure you select the default option to add new and update existing contacts. This setting allows you to maintain the most current information across your database, merging new data with existing records as needed. If your list includes emails and phone numbers, you can set your preferences for which should be the primary contact method.

5. Specify the Contact Type

The final step before submission involves categorizing the list as either seller leads or buyer leads. For this example, we'll select "Seller Lead." Once chosen, click Submit to finalize the import process.

Processing and Confirmation

After submission, the import process may take a moment. You might need to pause or wait briefly. Once complete, you'll find all your newly uploaded opportunities are now available in the CRM, tagged appropriately to ensure they are not called by the bot.

Summary

By following these straightforward steps, you can efficiently manage your contact list, ensuring specific opportunities are created without triggering automated calls from the bot. This process not only helps in segregating your contacts based on your immediate needs but also ensures your CRM remains organized and up-to-date with the latest contact information.
